Snow King Resort
The ski hill in the Town of Jackson offers a great break from the tourist and a spectacular view of Jackson Hole vanishing off into the north. You can hike to the top of the ski hill or take the express and pay to ride the chairlift. Even if you hike up, you can choose to ride the chairlift down, which I always prefer for the view, and ease on the knees.
The vantage point from on top of Snow King Mountain is a popular angle for the annual fireworks but also for an image that can show how small the town is in comparison to the country around it.
