Viewing the cluster of peaks from the north, the Tetons take on a view that is commonly called the Cathedral Group.
Turning into North Jenny Lake Junction, the road winds toward the mountains providing a variety of vantage points to photograph the mountain range laid out in contrast to the flat valley floor. Cathedral Group Turnout is a nice spot to stop and enjoy the expansive views.
Early in the month of June is a popular time for wildflowers in the sage grass fields. If the wildflower season has already peaked by the time you arrive, move to higher elevations around the region to find the field still in bloom. Up into August some trails into the mountains can open into fields full of wildflowers. Ask at the Moose visitor's center for information about where wildflowers are in full bloom that week.
