Chapel of Transfiguration
Rated by the New York Times as one of the best small chapel to get married in, the cabin is located just past the Moose Visitor's Center on the right. Even though tour buses stop throughout the day the tiny chapel can provide a nice quite area to reflect on the majesty of the area.
A picture window at the alter frames the mountains and in the fall can provide a burst of colors from the stand of aspens in the foreground. Public restrooms are available near Menor's Ferry that shares the same parking lot as the Chapel.
Church services are held on Sundays and Saturdays are booked with weddings. St. John's Episcopal Church in Jackson runs the services in the chapel and owns the property around the chapel and operates as an in holding in the park.
